Realme’s product Launches this week
Realme India launched 4 new products in India namely Realme TV, Realme Watch, Realme Buds Air Neo and Realme Powerbank 2 and also teased the launch of a 100W soundbar at an online event on May 25th at 12:30PM. Realme china has also launched new products including the Realme TV, Realme Watch, Realme Buds Air Neo, Realme Buds Q, Realme powerbank 2, Realme X50 Pro player edition. Realme has also launched its X3 Superzoom at an event in Europe on 26th of May.
Xiaomi product launches this week
On the other hand when Realme has launched so many products how can Xiaomi stay back. Xiaomi India launched its Redmi earbuds S and a motorized screwdriver on crowdfunding on May 26th in India. While Redmi X smart TV series, Redmi 10X series and Redmibook 13,14 and 16 series were launched on May 26th in China. Redmi 10X is the World’s First Dimensity 820-Powered Phone.
TikTok Clone Mitron Is a Clone of Pakistani App TicTic
Mitron – a TikTok clone that made its way to Google Play’s Top list with over 50 lakh installations for being an “Indian app”, turns out to be a replica of a Pakistani app called ‘TicTic’ made by a company named Qboxus. As reported first by CNN-News18, the app’s source code was purchased by an IIT Roorkee student named Shivank Agarwal for $34 (~Rs.2,600). In other words, Mitron is a clone of TicTic, which is a clone of TikTok.
Android 11 Online Launch Event Delayed; No Beta Release Next Week: Latest Weekly Tech News
Google canceled the on-ground Google I/O 2020 developer conference in fears of the spread of the Coronavirus. It announced that an online Beta Launch Show event will take its place, enabling Google to show-off its next-gen mobile OS – Android 11. This online event was scheduled for next week (June 3) but the company has just revealed that the event has been postponed. In an official tweet from the Android Developers account, Google said that ‘now is not the time to celebrate’ in reference to the nationwide protests against police brutality towards late African American citizen George Floyd in the US.
Sony Schedules PS5 Event for June 4
In line with the rumors, Sony has confirmed today that it will hold its next PlayStation 5 (better known as PS5) event on 4th June. With E3 being canceled, brands are taking it upon themselves to introduce new products to users. Sony is not holding a physical event due to the ongoing pandemic and will present a look into the ‘future of gaming’ on the PS5 via a live stream next week.

Having unveiled the Realme Buds Q in China earlier this week, Chinese tech company, Realme, is all set to launch it in India in the coming days. In a tweet earlier today, Realme CMO, Francis Wang, not only confirmed the impending launch, but also revealed that it will be priced below Rs. 2,000.
Samsung Announces Exynos 880 Chipset with 5G for Mid range smartphones: Latest Weekly Tech News
Samsung has announced Exynos 880, a new 5G chipset targeted at mid-range smartphones. The first phone to sport the new chipset is the Vivo Y70s that Vivo launched in China earlier. The Exynos 880 is an octa-core processor manufactured on the 8nm FinFET process. The chipset boasts two Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It supports LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. The Exynos 880 comes with the ARM Mali-G76 MP5 GPU, which is capable of supporting Full HD+ (2520×1080) displays. According to Samsung, the processor supports advanced graphics APIs and offers powerful and efficient graphics processing. The company claims the chipset renders in-game 3D graphics at a high framerate while maintaining reduced loading times.

Called ‘Sodar‘, it is an augmented reality (AR) software by Google, and is expected to help users follow social distancing rules when they’re out and about. TikTok’s Play Store Rating Recovers As Google Removes Millions of Negative Reviews
TikTok went from a 4.5 rating to 1.2 within a couple of days. Google stepped to the occasion and fixed the app’s rating by deleting over eight million reviews that didn’t represent genuine feedback. Google has removed millions of reviews to bring TikTok’s rating back to 4.4 on the Play Store. The company justifies this is a correction action to curb spam abuse, as reported by TechCrunch.
Instagram Will Now Show Ads in IGTV Videos; Share Revenue with Creators
Instagram has finally detailed them today in an official blog post. One, the company’s long-form video platform, IGTV, will start showing ads and secondly, Instagram Live viewers will be able to purchase badges to support an influencer.
Instagram reveals that ads will show up in IGTV videos starting this week. It has partnered with a handful of English-speaking creators and advertising partners such as Ikea, Puma, and others. The ads will be built for mobile and can be as long as 15-seconds. The company will share an “industry standard” 55 per cent cut with creators.
OnePlus 8-Series Open Sale Delayed in India Because of Production Issues: Latest Weekly Tech News
In an official forum post on Wednesday, OnePlus said that it is being forced to alter its plans after the production of the OnePlus 8-series was ‘temporarily halted’ last week. The company, however, claims that production is already back up and running, so one would hope that things would get back to normal sooner rather than later. OnePlus hasn’t detailed the exact reason why production was halted last week, but it might be because Oppo’s Greater Noida factory, which manufactures OnePlus devices for the Indian market, was forced to close last week after a number of employees there tested positive for COVID-19. OnePlus has officially confirmed its plans to launch a mid-range smartphone this year. In a post on Weibo, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said that the company will offer a mid-range handset this year to reach a wider consumer base. Rumours about a new mid-range OnePlus smartphone have been doing the rounds for several months. Long rumoured as the OnePlus 8 Lite, the device is now expected to be marketed as the OnePlus Z. However, Lau neither confirmed nor denied any of the rumours regarding the phone’s name. Nokia Shutters Tamil Nadu Factory After 42 Workers Test Positive for COVID-19
Nokia has suspended operations at a telecom gear manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu after dozens of employees there tested positive for COVID-19. The company’s plan has been shut down since last week, just a few days after it reopened. While Nokia isn’t saying how many employees were positive for COVID-19, Reuters claims that the number is at least 42. In a statement, the Finnish company claimed that it had taken all precautions before reopening the plant.
