Reliance Jio Is Offering Free Amazon Prime Subscriptions

Reliance Jio is reportedly offering free Amazon Prime subscriptions to people using its fiber services. According to Fonearena, the My Jio app is showing the offer to customers who are eligible for it. Jio has not made any announcements about the offer, however, it seems to be showing up for people randomly. As reported by Fonearena, they got the offer on their quarterly silver plan. This could mean that the company is only offering the free subscription offer on select plans.Additionally, the telecom operator is giving one-year subscription of Disney+ Hotstar VIP to all prepaid users who recharge their account with Rs. 401 plan, Rs. 2,599 plan, Rs. 612 data voucher, or Rs. 1208 data voucher.

Xiaomi has been working on the Mi Band 5 for a while, and we have been hearing about it for some time. Now, a WeChat post by the Xiaomi Mall public account (via GizChina) confirms that the Mi Band 5 will launch on June 11 in China.

Mi Notebook is all set to debut as Xiaomi’s first laptop in India on June 11. The laptop will not only mark its India debut next week, but this will also be its global debut. According to Xiaomi, Mi Notebook will sport slim bezels, thus high screen-to-body ratio. Additionally, the presence of 10th gen Intel Core i7 processor has been confirmed and the laptop is claimed to offer 12-hours battery life. Further, Xiaomi says the Mi Notebook will include full-HD screen. Xiaomi claims it will be a high-end flagship-level laptop, meant for power users. So, if you are expecting a budget model, you are probably out of luck.

A couple of days after launching few Galaxy M-series, Samsung also debuted a new Galaxy A-series smartphone in India this week. It’s the Galaxy A31, which was first unveiled in March earlier this year. It’s equipped with an AMOLED display, MediaTek chipset, and a massive battery pack. Yeah, you heard it right, Mediatek chipset instead of an Exynos in a mid-range Samsung phone.Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in India. The South Korean tech giant took to Twitter to announce that the tablet is “coming soon” to the country. The exact date for the launch is June 8th.

OnePlus 8 Pro Will Arrive in India with the Color Filter Camera Disabled Out-of-the-Box

OnePlus 8 Pro, for those unaware, includes a quad-camera system with one of them being a 5MP color filter camera. It was recently discovered that the said camera can be used to see through certain plastics and thin layers of clothing. Yeah, it’s quite crazy but your phone gets X-ray vision with this camera. As a result of the outpour, OnePlus disabled the color filter camera in its home country – China to prevent its abuse. Android Central today reports that OnePlus 8 Pro will go on sale in India with the color filter camera disabled out-of-the-box. It’s obviously to curb any privacy concerns, especially since 8 Pro can be used to see through clothes.

Viral indigenous social media app, Mitron, may be reinstated on the Play Store soon. After removing the app earlier this week from the Play Store, Google now says that the developer needs to addresses certain issues if they want to resubmit the app for consideration. “We’ve given this developer some guidance and once they’ve addressed the issue the app can go back up on Play”, said Sameer Samat, Vice President, Android and Google Play, in an official blog post.

Airtel XStream Fiber Offers 1000GB Data to New Customers

Airtel has reportedly started offering 1000GB additional data at no extra cost to Airtel XStream Fiber customers. As reported by TelecomTalk, the offer is applicable to new customers signing up for the service within the promotional period. The company will run the offer until the 7th of June.

Realme launched the Realme X3 SuperZoom with Snapdragon 855+ chipset at €499 in Europe last week. The company is apparently also working on a regular Realme X3 and Realme X3 Pro. Tipster Mukul Sharma has now shared the specifications of the Realme X3 on Twitter. The vanilla Realme X3 will allegedly feature specifications similar to the SuperZoom variant. According to the tweet, the handset will sport a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The tipster claims the handset will equip a quad rear camera setup featuring a 64MP primary Samsung sensor. an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 12/13MP 2x telephoto camera, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the device will apparently feature a dual 16MP + 8 MP setup. The 16MP sensor will likely be a Sony IMX 471 wide-angle lens with a 79.3-degree field of view and f/2.0 aperture, while the 8MP camera may be an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 105-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. The Realme X3 may be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants. Meanwhile, Google Play Console listing suggests that the 12GB RAM option will be limited to the SuperZoom edition. Realme X3 SuperZoom comes equipped with a 4,200mAh battery with 30W Dart charging. Going by the tweet, we could expect the same on Realme X3 as well.
